Stirling was the very first area to gain White Ribbon Status.

We are keen to re-develop the Stirling White Ribbon Campaign Project which started in the early days of the White Ribbon Scotland Campaign. It aims to help eliminate violence against women by involving men.  If you are interested in our approach of developing gender equality and educating men about VAW and what they can do to help end it in the Stirling Area please contact us at

Stirling’s White Ribbon Parade was once an annual show of support and can be again to demonstrate the desire for changes in the attitudes and behaviour which tend to condone violence against women.

Stirling White Ribbon Campaign was represented by local firefighters as representatives of the Stirling Area when they accepted the award of White Ribbon Status.

Most men do not commit violence against women. But all men have a role in ending it. If we all start by making a pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about men's violence against women in all its forms, that will make a huge difference.
